MVC With Entrapment Proves To Be Fatal

In the afternoon hours of the above date, Station 51 was dispatched for an unknown MVC at the intersection of Halltown Road & Brittney Lane. Command 51 arrived on location shortly after dispatch and reported a two vehicle MVC with two subjects trapped, one of which being a priority one trauma. With that report, Rescue Company 56, Rescue Company 41, KCEMS, DSP Aviation Trooper 4 and additional BLS were all dispatched to assist. Crews worked together to free the trapped occupant taking twelve minutes to do so. Once all patients were transported, the scene was placed under control and turned over to DSP for their investigation. Assistant Chief J. Fox had the command.
