Saturday Morning Winch Class

Saturday morning, several of Hartly's volunteers gathered at the firehouse for a winch rescue class put on by ESI Equipment Inc. Members spent several hours learning the specifications and science behind utilizing a rescue winch. After classroom discussion and education, members put their knowledge to the test setting up several rescue scenarios utilizing several rescue techniques. A great time was had be all and a special thanks goes out to Pat Grubb from ESI Equipment Inc. for giving us another tool to better serve the citizens of Hartly and surrounding areas.
