MVC With Entrapment

In the early morning hours of March 7th, Hartly's volunteers were alerted along with additional Fire and EMS resources for an MVC with entrapment in the 2900 block of Downs Chapel Road. Once units arrived on location, crews observed a single vehicle MVC versus a tree with a single priority trauma patient trapped. Due to the patient's condition, a rapid extrication was preformed and the patient was turned over to awaiting EMS. Special thanks to Station 45 (Clayton) for the resuce assist. Assistant Chief Fox had the Downs Chapel Road command.
