MVC Rollover

In the late evening hours, Station 51 was dispatched for a MVC in the 3700 Block of Arthursville Road. Once Command 51 (1st Asst. Chief Morris) arrived on location, a single vehicle overturned in a ditch was observed. Command was established and ALS as well as Aviation was started due to mechanism. Once 51-3 (Deputy Chief Connors) and 51-6 (2nd Asst. Chief Gosch) arrived on location, Command 51 directed their crews to assist EMS with packaging the patient whom was self extricated prior to fire company arrival. Once the patient was secured, aviation was cancelled by KM6 and Medic 51 initiated transport to the local emergency department. Command then placed the scene under control and returned all units while turning the scene over to DSP.
