Vehicle Fire

Hartly's volunteers were alerted for this vehicle fire in the area of Forrest Avenue and Pearsons Corner Road. Once 51-2 arrived on location, 51-19 (J. Read) reported a single commercial van with fire showing from the engine compartment. Crews deployed the front bumper line and started to make a knock on the fire. Once the fire was extinguished, crews began overhaul and the scene was placed under control. Soon afterwards, the scene was turned over to DSP and 51 units returned to service.
