Vehicle Rescue Training

Tuesday night, Hartly's volunteers gathered at the local scrap yard to practice some hand on skills with the rescue air bags. Crews were split into two teams on two scenarios involving a vehicle underneath a semi trailer with a subject trapped. One crew was utilized the rescue air bags to lift the trailer off of the vehicle while the other crew handled the extrication process of the "patient". Both scenarios gave the volunteers over three hours of valuable training. Special thanks to Dover Scrap Yard and DSFS for making this training possible.
