Vehicle Fire

In the morning hours of September 17th, Station 51 was dispatched for a vehicle fire in the 200 block of West Denny’s Road. While units were enroute, Kent Center reported a single vehicle MVC that was now on fire and that all occupants had fled the scene. 51 units arrived on location shortly after and confirmed conditions. Crews deployed a hand line and began fire extinguishment. Once the fire was knocked and the report of no patients was confirmed, the scene was placed under control. As DSP arrived on location, the scene was turned over to them and 51 units returned to service. Deputy Chief Read had command.
